From Glasgow Airport to Braeburn Cottage
On the airport exit road look out for the sign for Greenock, Linwood, Erskine Bridge on the M8. Join the M8 at Junction 29. Head west towards Erskine. Leave the M8 at Junction 30 onto the M898 for the Erskine Bridge. It's well signposted Cross the Erskine Bridge and take the left hand lane to Dumbarton on the A82. Follow the A82 through the first roundabout. At the second roundabout get into one of the two outside lanes and go straight through to the third roundabout (about 5 miles in total from the bridge). At the 3rd roundabout follow signs for Loch Lomond till the next roundabout (Stoneymollan). Take third exit for Balloch on the A811 and follow the road to the next roundabout, go straight ahead following signs for Stirling to next roundabout. Take the third exit for Bonhill, Jamestown, A813. Follow this road along past the BP Petrol station on your right, school and church on your left, go along look out for a bus stop and brown tourist board sign saying "Braeburn Cottage B&B" on your left and take a left onto Auchencarroch Road
From Auchencarroch road continue on the country road up the hill for one mile. Look out for the above sign at the bottom of the drive. Wester Auchencarroch is the 3rd farm on your right. The total journey is about 16 miles and should take about 20 minutes.
If travelling from the south on the M8 cross the Erskine Bridge and follow the directions from that point as described above. If coming from other directions you can check your directions on the interactive map above.
